Should I get a pet from a shelter or pet store?

Answered By Paige Harbold

It is advisable to get pets from shelter because they are card for by the staff and they are aware of the environment with people. The shelter's staff can find the pet that you like such as a dog that enjoys long walks or likes to play with children or a cat that likes to curl on your lap. Animals from shelter have already undergone medical treatments, spaying or neutering. If plan of getting pets from pet store, make sure to get the right briefing from the seller regarding their attitudes especially dogs, cats and other animals having physical interaction with people.
