Can you answer Isolda A’s question about Pets?:
She had a rabbit that she loves, but we can’t keep it. Her bday is coming up and I want to give her a new pet. Since we live in a apartment we can’t have a dog or cat. So any suggestions?

Pets Feedback: a hamster?
Pets Feedback: goldfish
Pets Feedback: Fish Aquarium…their quiet and a great night light for her room
Pets Feedback: hamster is cute or a bird
Pets Feedback: Fish , hamster
Pets Feedback: If she likes Rabbits, try getting her either a hamster or another rabbit!
Pets Feedback: A gecko!
Pets Feedback: Why can’t you keep the rabbit?
Pets Feedback: beta fish- they are pretty sturdy and pretty easy to take care of.
all you need to do is follow the directions on the food you buy, pour out half the water once a week to clean the bowl, and put in a little bit of purifier.
Pets Feedback: How about letting her help out in the picking? I had a hamster, and when the time came to get a new pet my mom got me a pet rat. I would rather of had another hamster….but I didn’t get to pick
Pets Feedback: Talk to your apartment office about their rules on pets. Some are very strict and others allow pets with a deposit. Some allow caged animals,so your bunny may be allowed. I had one at my apartment. If you’re looking for something small and low maintenance, how about a hamster or gerbil? Anything larger (such as a ferret or chichilla)will require a large cage and in an apartment you may not have room for it. Rally for your bunny too though!! Good luck!
Pets Feedback: try her with a goldfish or hamster. and if she is in brownie scouts it will help earn a badge
Pets Feedback: Hi! I think that a fish tank would be great, Pick out some gravel and decorations of her favorite color, Guppies are beatuiful and that would be great! I hope that helped and I hope she has a great B-day! *guppylover*
Pets Feedback: I’m a pet breeder ,and i refuse to sell my toy Chihuahua that i love and care for 8 week’s to parent’s like you .
Pet’s make the worst presents for children ,yes i said children ,because they love him for just a day or a week ,and then its up to the parent’s ,and parent’s have their busy lives’s ,and their social lives’s and a pet its not their first concern.
Parents quit giving your kid’s pets for Easter ,and birthdays.
they will end up abandon ,or mistreated.
love your child ,go purchase a toy .
Pets Feedback: a guinea pig
Pets Feedback: what about a chinchilla? I used to have one and i loved it! They are really soft and fun to hold and play with.
Pets Feedback: I got my son a 2 Guinea Pigs for his 8th bday… one died from a lung infection after 2 years : ( … but we still have the other one and my son is 13 now! Poor thing was depressed for awhile after loosing its friend. I bought two because they are social animals and love to have a buddy (I got two males) - they say male guinea pigs get along fine with each other as long as there are no females around to get them wound up. Now… little piggy is easy to take care of and costs me about $12/week to take care of properly (bedding, food, vitamins). They got good bedding and timothy hay cheap at walmart. The bedding is called “CritterCare” - in a purple bag. With two pigs in a large cage you have to clean it about every 4-5 days, but it is not hard. Our piggy loves to be held, fed carrots and lettuce, and he loves it when we give him a bath. Make sure to get a guinea pig care book for her to go along with it… guinea pigs require some special care, but nothing too crazy.
Pets Feedback: Get a bunch of fish. Saltwater ones are hard to take care of and expensive, but you can get colorful freshwater fish, too. Tetras of beta fish are good. BEWARE: do not mix betas with ANY other fish, they will attack and kill. (unless you have females, but they are less colorful)
Pets Feedback: Get a cockatiel. They can be taught to sing, are very gentle, low maintenence, and are very pretty. Just be sure to get a younger one to raise.
Pets Feedback: An eight year old might like a kitten but your moving so it might be better if you get a cage animal so a bird, Gunea pig or hamster might do for your little eight year old
Pets Feedback: you can get a baby turtle . not as boring as fishes becuz you cant play around with them. and they are quiet and easy to take care of, can take out to play and they live for long time. =]
Pets Feedback: rats make grate pets for kids their friendly they don’t bit like a hamster and gerbil will their play full and ez to train
Pets Feedback: Get her some mice. Easy to take care of, easy to hold. And they don’t make a lot of mess. Rats get too big and they don’t do the fun activities. I wouldn’t get her a fish if I were you. Fish tend to die very easily, if their water is off by just a little bit then they’re dead. Birds are really really messy. I had two parakeets and their area was always dirty. Plus they can’t be near the kitchen, the fumes can harm them. I wouldn’t reccomend a chinchilla for an 8 year old. Children tend to not pay close attention to animals, and chinchillas need lots of attention. Plus they’re night animals so right when you’re going to bed the chinchilla is wide awake and wants to play. All the noise wouldn’t be good either. (We have ours in a seperate room) Another thing about them, they have to be handled alot, at least once a day for 10-20 minutes so they get use to being handled. Ours is still very shy (which they all are) because we don’t hold her as much as we should. And that’s a little too much responsibility for an 8 year old. Just know that whatever pet you get her make sure you’re willing to take care of it for her when she forgets to feed it or play with it. You don’t want to get something you wouldn’t hold or take care of, because that will eventually happen. I was 8 once, I can’t even count how many times my dad would feed my pets for me.
