I just lost my ferret back in June. It was a very traumatic event for me.
Im thinking of getting another pet next month for my birthday but I need something that I can keep in MY bedroom, the wont leave the room, and that wont make alot of noise because I live with my grandparents. It can’t be a messy pet either. I like soft, fun pets, that you can play with and cuddle.
I was thinking of getting a baby ferret, or maybe a hedgehog but Idk what other options there are? Not a hampster because they sleep all day and then run in those stupid wheels all night and make lots of noise.
I will probably get another ferret. I love hedgehogs too so im considering that too. I had one of those when I was little.

Pets Feedback: Fish? But they’re a tad boring..only fun to look at for the first couple days.
Pets Feedback: a money spider or a maggot
Pets Feedback: How about a soft, snuggly sweet little bunny???
Pets Feedback: i’d say a ferret if you don’t want a hampster
Pets Feedback: Rat, mouse or gerbil?
Pets Feedback: Well a hedgehog isn’t exactly cuddly with all their spines, if you want something that isn’t going to make any noise and is soft and cuddly how about a stuffed teddy bear? Cause any pet is going to make noise and make a mess and could get out of your room. All that leaves is fish.
Pets Feedback: What about one of the following:
Chinchilla
Guinea Pig
Sugar Glider
Pets Feedback: A rat would work well, they don’t like wheels and they wake up in the day, they really bond with an owner too. Apart from that, a ferret would be great since you had one before, so you have the kit and the knowledge to care for one properly. If you fancy something a little more exotic, why don’t you consider a chinchilla? They need specialist care, but you could easily learn that by reading a few books, and they’re so entertaining.
Pets Feedback: not a dog or a cat. i vote for bunny or ferret. a hedgehog wont be as cuddly.
Pets Feedback: GET A POT BELLY PIG
Pets Feedback: Any pets going to make noise. Maybe you should consider getting a guinie pig or a chinchilla both of those are great pets and love being cuddled.
Pets Feedback: fish are great and not boring once you have a good setup.
Hedge hogs are wonderful pets they are affectionate, kind fun to cuddle and awake during the day.
Unfortunatly they are on the expensive side.
Guinea Pigs are another option that are just as great as hedgehogs.

Hope I could help and good luck with your new pet!
Pets Feedback: Have you thought of a white mouse?
Pets Feedback: I’d get a hamster! They are so affectionate and cute which is what you need right now after your recent trauma. Just fit a red light bulb in your room and he’ll think its night. As for the noise, just get a silent wheel. Also get him a running ball. My wife used to have a hamster with a running ball and he used to run around the whole living room without bumping into anything. And a hamster ticks all the other boxes, ie soft, fun, you can play with and cuddle. Quite clever as well, and generally socially acceptable, which is not always true for rats, though I do love them as well (and all other animals).
