I have two pet rabbits, both males, which I’ve had since they were 6 weeks old. Fred and George (the rabbits) mostly get along, but every once in a while they have little fights, and they’re always trying to mate with each other.

Pets Feedback: I have a rabbit– Nugget– and she was not that friendly in the beginning. The way that I got her to be comfortable with me was just to spend a lot of time with her and give her a lot of love (rub her head, belly, play with her). If you keep your rabbits caged a lot and they don’t get out a lot, they are bound to be unhappy. Once you gain their trust, you can try to pick them up– just make sure you are using both hands (one hand under the tushie, so they don’t kick and hurt themselves). Also, as far as them getting along and just being happier, you may want to consider having them neutered. Once we spayed my bunny, she was a lot nicer to us.

Pets Feedback: as a breeder i have 3 main rabbits 2 male and 1 female i never put the males together. any males after about 6-8 weeks brother or not will fight .most of the time as they get older when there in a fight one may die.my any advice is to get a new cage and separate them.
and the second question one ways would to lay next to the cage watch one that you want to hold and wait till he comes to u and if u can pick him up and place him next to u ands pat him till he is relaxed and then he should let u pick him up
Pets Feedback: You have to take things slow.
If you can’t take them out because they are biting you, try these exersizes, with them in their cages first.
Take the rabbits out in a small room, with you in the room.
Stick out your hands, and get them to touch, or sniff them.They can pick up your scent like this, and it helps gain trust between the both of you.
Also during this time, talk gently to them as they sniff your hand.Again, they pick up your scent, and recognize your voice.This helps you and your rabbits to gain trust.
Also try toys.The toys will make them less aggresive torwards you, and each other.
Try taking them out in different rooms, and let them see the house.If they see the house, it will help them gain trust in your living style.
Try taking them out a lot more, and let them see you, your house, and your lifestyle, and then, they start to gain trust, and they start to like you.
Remember, that this takes time.You must take them out almost everyday.If you really want this to happen, you need to take the time out in your day to care for them.
Try a few of these exersizes everyday.They will gain your trust soon, and they will begin to like you.
I had problems with my rabbit at first, but I tried these exersizes, and it helped her a lot.
She knows, and trusts me know, and we get along great.I hope this helps with your rabbits too!!!

Pets Feedback: I got two pet rabbits for my b’day last year and they didn’t really like me at first. If they won’t let you pick them up ,try gently stroking them a few times a day. Your rabbit is just probably not comfortable with you just yet. After your bunny is comfortable with you stroking it, try picking it up slowly,( don’t make any sudden movements). If your bunny allows you to pick them up hold them against your chest and srtoke them very gently. After a few days or maybe even weeks they should love you to bits. Good luck
